How are loans secured?
All of our loans offered to investors are secured by a first mortgage registered against a property, meaning that if a borrower does not meet their obligations, SCP as the loan managers, can sell the property to assist with recouping the debt.
We accept the following types of securities:
- Residential houses
- Commercial
- Apartments
- Bare land
- Lifestyle properties
- Construction and renovations
The value of a security is ascertained by any, or a combination of the following:
- Valuation from a registered valuer
- Real Estate Appraisal
- Comparative Market Analysis (CMA)
- Sales and Purchase Agreement
- Capital or Rateable Value
