Why did I receive a partial repayment?

All loans have an agreed repayment strategy, and this provides a guideline for the investment period. However, all borrowers have the right, through law, to repay their loan at any time.

This means it’s possible the loan you have invested in may receive partial repayments or repay early.

Borrowers may repay a portion of their loan during the loan term for example when they have sold one or more of the security properties, a reduction in the loan amount is required to qualify for a renewal or they have obtained funds from other sources sufficient to significantly reduce their loan.

When funds arrive they are distributed to each investor by the percentage of the overall loan they hold. Email advice confirming the amount received is sent to investors as soon as practical. Because the amount repaid is only a portion of the loan, the amount investors receive will be in smaller, odd amounts, and not rounded to the nearest dollar.
