Why did my investment renew?
Renewals occur when borrowers cannot repay their loans on the maturity date, and they seek an extension of their loan term.
SCP may decide that an extension to the loan is the most efficient strategy to obtain
loan repayment. Investors will be advised of the revised loan terms, including the new
maturity date, and the investment continues unchanged. It may take up to 30 days
past the maturity date to gather the required documentation. Our Resale Market lets
you on-sell your investment to another investor if you do not wish to continue it until its
new maturity date.
